About Kornelia Herms

I am a Polish-born artist, educated in art, in both Poland and the UK.  In my work I focus on exploration of layers, as a fluid, transparent material. During my working process, I have been exploring memories and places with a particular focus on architecture and landscape.

Painting, drawing, installation, projection, mark making, fluidity and repetition are all often reoccurring elements within my work.

Remembering place is in the heart of my work.
